This garden is arranged within two forty foot diameter circles.
This garden, planted in the summer of 2002, is 42' in diameter. The lawn, at right, slopes down to a wet area.
Special landscape designs were created to take the varying micro-climates into account.
Paths, logs and rocks were placed among the plants to break up the garden and provide interest.
Black-eyed Susan, Rudbeckia hirta, and grasses surround this stump.
The wet areas, shown above, were planted with Sweet Indian Plantain, Cacilia suaveolens, Queen of the Prairie, Filipendula rubra, and other plants that appreciate moist soil. Rocks, stones and logs add additional interest.
