This large semi-circular garden became overrun with a tall Goldenrod. We removed everything...

 

Original Garden

New Beds

... and added 60 new species of - grasses, sedges and wildflowers - that will bloom from spring until winter.

The plants are filling in quickly, but the garden must be weeded regularly.

 


A bench was added for interest and relaxation.

Here is the garden in early fall. A colorful scarecrow oversees the Coneflowers, Sweet Black-eyed Susan and grasses.
