A closer look displays the intricate nature of the garden. The Milkweeds fit together with the other plants. No one is being "crowded out". There is a place for everyone.
There are three species of Milkweed here. The shorter Butterfly Milkweed, Asclepias tuberosa, is established on the edge as is the New Jersey
Tea, Ceanothus americanus. Both are blooming here in mid-June of 2010.
