This little place was planted with native wildflowers and grasses in the Summer of 2008. Here it is now on a rainy day in late October of 2009. The little plants and big tree get along just fine.

Even in late October the Autumn flowering Asters and Goldenrods provide color and food for migrating butterflies.

It is real important to keep the birdbath clean and full of water.
