A Shady Area in Glenview, Ilionois

Here in late May 2012 the garden is just filling out -- the better to see the different features that highligh the area.

The split-rail fence was all busted up when a large tree branch fell on it during a wind storm. Note the old rustic wagon wheel by the side of the shed.

We found the wooden kiosk and its twin in an alley behind a house waiting for the trash collectors to take them away. I thought to myself, "Wouldn't these look nice in somebody's yard?" They sure do, don't they?

This garden is composed of many individual elemetns, which when brought together produce a very beautiful composition, much like a symphony. the designer's main function here to play the role of composer.

Even the little red wagon in front of the shed adds a nice interesting touch.
