SHADY RESIDENTIAL

A Shady Backyard in Riverside, Illinois

This garden was featured in Chicagoland Gardening Magazine

The yellow flowers of the Woodland Sunflowers, Helianthus divaricatus, while bringing color and fullness to the shady backyard, divulge the fact that this is an aggressive plant.

Bugbane, Cimicifuga racemosa, (center) grows in the deep shady woods and flowers during the Summer.

See the nice, spanking, new fence. I made the mistake of touching the old one and it fell down like a row of dominos.
